List of services that are not available to Iranian internet users “#TechSanctions”
As a result of US sanctions on Iran, many tech companies have restricted Iranians’ access to their goods and services. To make matters worse, some companies over-comply, restricting access to services that are explicitly exempted from sanctions and therefore may be legally sold to Iranians.
With the help of Iranian internet users, we maintain a list of such services and companies. We believe that such exclusions negatively impact Iranians’ freedom of expression online, adding an undue burden for those who already have to deal with Internet censorship imposed by Iranian authorities.
