Systems Programer

Salary: Dependent on Experience

Contract length: Full-Time Position

We are looking for a System programmer to join our team. You will be working with a team of developers and designers to develop circumvention technologies to help people go around internet censorship, helping them access information and support freedom of expression.  

We expect you to have:

  • High level of proficiency with TCP/IP network protocols
  • Experience with Go, C, C++ and Python programming language
  • Experience writing well-tested code
  • Complete comfort with software development tools (git, JIRA, CI)
  • Strong interest to collaborate with teams across the entire app lifecycle from concept, design, build, deploy, test, release and support
  • Passion to learn, and pick up new languages/concepts hyper-fast 
  • A strong grasp of CS fundamentals and design patterns

Big plus:

  • Experience with Virtual Private Network protocols
  • Experience with Mobile application development frameworks (Electron, Cordova, ReactNative)
  • Experience with DevOps technologies including Kubernetes
